Emily 5 months

Today Feb. 10th our baby girl turned 5 months old! My how time flies!! She had been healthy this winter and continues to be a good baby. Or I should say when I am around she is good. She seems to cry for an hour or 2 after I leave for work! Makes for a long night for Eric!! I hope it's jus a phase! We tried rice cereal for the first time as well today. Not sure yet if she liked it or not? Here are some recent pictures.

Snow Mowing?

A few weeks ago- when we had a little snow on the ground I sent Nick outside to play. He loves to play in the snow and never seems to get cold. He decided he was going to get his lawn mower out and mow the snow. I thought it was pretty cute- he was pretending he was like daddy and snow blowing without the blowing.

Emily 4 months

Emily had her 4 month check last week. She is a healthy 13 lbs 2 oz and is 24.5 inches long. She continues to be a good baby- especially with her mom around. She can give daddy a hard time when I am at work. But she is still a happy go lucky baby! Yesterday she started rolling over from her stomach to her back! It won't be long and she will be on the move!

The "Gang"

The day after Christmas in Ruthven the "gang" decided to get together again and have a few beers. We met up at the local pub in Ruthven- the only one- Bully's. We had a great time and have decided we need to do that more often!!

Christmas 2008

Well, I knew the holidays would slow me down with getting my blog updated and going back to work doesn't help either. We had a nice Christmas here in Omaha and back home. Nick was able to talk to Santa on the phone- thanks to uncle Pete- and he thought that was pretty cool. He was happy with all of his presents he got from santa- and everyone else. He was disappointed that he was not able to eat the cookies with Santa!! Here are some pics from Christmas...

Here is a recent picture of Emily. She is a growing and happy baby!! I go back to work tonight- so hopefully she continues to be a little angel with daddy!!

Cookie Day

The annual cookie day with Eric's family took place on Saturday. Since aunt Jenny was under the weather we had a couple extra helpers. Uncle Pete was showing Nick the ropes on how to decorate cookies!!
